Makin' friends

I have a two part question for you guys:

1. How have you met some of your best friends from eGO? I'm really want to make more friends to play games with. I already have a few that I went to school with, but at times they're busy and I'm left playing with randoms.
   
   I certainly do try to play in our servers or join on some of you guys on games, but I never really "hit it off" or feel a friend vibe. Don't get me wrong, people are polite and welcoming, but just not a friend vibe.

• Secondly.. How have you guys made some of your close friends in real life?
  
  I made almost all of my friends in college, both in classes and in my Fraternity (Theta Chi), but I recently moved to a new location due to work and still don't have many real life friends. I have a group that I play ultimate frisbee with and I recently joined a group called GeekCLE (I live in the Cleveland area) hoping to meet some new people. Also, I live in a big apartment complex where there are "adult events", but generally older people show up rather than people my age (23).

After typing all this.. It kind of makes me sound/feel like a social hermit, but once I get the nerve to say hello and start a conversation I'm perfectly fine.

I feel I haven't finished my complete thought yet, but alas my lunch break is over and it's back to the grind!
