it was supposedly -27F when I looked on my phone last night in nj with the wind chill. Soo happy i dont have to move anywhere. I think its 17F right now. Ill wait till this weekend when its 50 again to do stuff

Just mentioning of weather like that is enough to freak anyone in the south out.
There was a "blizzard" here in the early 90s. We got probably 1-2 foot of snow.

Stores sold out of everything like it was the apocalypse.

If this is the correct Barrie I think you are speaking of, I visited your fine town years ago for the Warped Tour haha. So Random, we just wanted to take a road trip so we went to Toronto first and then kept going. We went to a thrift store (cause I was a wicked cool hipster back then) and I got a shirt that said Barrie Taxi haha. End of random story.

I want that snow! I feel like I am teh only one excited for it in this state. Even the cold temps I find super interesting. It was -17 at the coldest I think, that was with the wind chill, but it was just neat to go outside and experience such crazy conditions. Being a WWII scholar I just think to myself, this is what it was like to fight on the Eastern Front ha.
