Counter-Strike: Source We Need a Rotation Server!

Being in eGO for a long time, I agree. We have had Zombie Mod, 24/7 Assault, DM, Minigame, Rotation (twice, I think?), over and over again. It just doesn't work, because how the vicious cycle works is this:
- Leadership, give us x server!
- Oblige
- Two weeks of activity
- Server is always empty
- Leadership shuts it down due to inactivity
- Complaining
- REPEAT

I'm inactive due to school. But, I still stand by having a rotation server. I, however, understand it is difficult to maintain/fill a server. Just look at Highschool: was around for a while, started to die down, then almost went completely dead. Leadership pulled the server because of its status.
I'm really interested, though, if there can be events, where the non-community members know and can join and see what their reaction is to a rotation server. Have a vote for which maps (keep it simple to maps that come with CSS and don't need massive downloads) to play. Use the event server. But, that, of course, needs approval from Leadership and coordination with the EC's.
Just a suggestion. Use our event server as a, in a sense, trial run.

Let's try and break that cycle. I like the sound of a rotation server, and I would play it when I could. I like terrors idea of using the event server as a test.

Can't run CS:GO. Also, CS:GO isnt quite as fun as CSS, IMHO.

I would, I really want to play on the GO server, but as Maroon stated, my laptop can't run CS:GO.

This needs to really be considered.
We have a few servers that sit empty that could be converted into a rotation server. Plenty of guys that play in the Italy server have said themselves that we need a rotation server and I believe it could be pretty successful.
It could easily be done with the mini-game server. I don't believe I've ever seen anyone in there once.

Minigames server is going to moved over to GO. It was announced in the past clan wide meeting. Office can get full but sometimes, it does seem dead. Just need to go on at certain times.
I still want one but Leadership will address this when a greater amount of the community wants one but there are other matters to attend to. As for now, the servers we have should be the concern of being filled as well as maintaining and moving up their ranks

Now I wished I could of made the division meeting.
Poor mini-games, the black sheep of the CSS server family. I loved it and will miss it. QQ
But why GO? Will it really do any better there?
I understand leadership is trying to figure out the best server configuration.
There's a huge surge of players moving over to GO. Though Source is still played by many, lots of people are testing the waters of GO and moving over to it, or so from what I've seen.
And MG, though it's fun, it's hard to maintain both Jail and MG, keep them filled, and produce results

Yeah, maybe. But there's also players like me who can't play GO due to hardware limitations.
Best of luck to MG. But I doubt it will last in the GO scene.
