best update to ever happen to the game

-Updated the Short Circuit
-Damage lowered
-Consumes 15 metal per projectile destroyed
-Can no longer fire underwater
-Fixed a bug with orphaned particles

All you punk-*** engies better run! I have enough frustration with that damn OP weapon to power a few sessions of rage.

I started playing soldier with my energy weapon (as least the secondary) all the time so I could deal with the short circuit.

See, this is what happens when everyone uses the OP weapon together, people complain, then the company sees it.

Anyway, glad it happened even though it didn't have much impact on me.

I heard that it uses no ammo unless it destroys the projectile is that true?

No, it still uses the usual 5 metal along with the 15 metal used to destroy projectiles.

I was actually fairly happy with the short curcuit before the original buff. It actually required skill to use, and when you were good with it, you could actually defend your sentry pretty well.

I honestly feel that there are very few items that need buffs, and then they go ahead and buff them anyways. A prime example was the quick fix. That was still my favorite medigun, before the update. The only problem is people didn't actually see the true potential in the item, and then complained about it. The only thing at this point I hope gets a bit of a nerf though is frickin' minisentries.

mini's are only an issues when they get ignored... probably could lower the range a tiny bit, but other than that, they are pretty balanced.

I don't get it. The short circuit wasn't too much of a nuisance to me...

Then again, I play a lot of pyro. Getting close is the last thing you want to do.

Ya got on soon after this and loadout was available and got to see for myself. I think its a good move and it proved useful. I would still use it in situations, before it just sat in my back pack.

Don't get me started on how much I hate minisentries. I have litterally named my strange direct hit "Slayer of Minisentries", and attached strange part buildings destroyed and engineers killed. My building kills equals greater than seventy five percent of my player kills.

I can go on and on about how they could nerf them. All day.

I couldn't believe how OP this weapon was when I got it, and it was hard not to use it and just laugh. My engie-from-hell is crying a little. Just a little though. I do think this is a good change, and I agree that the mini-sentry needs a bit of work as well. Guess it's more main-pyro. ;)

Good. It's still viable, but not nearly as irritating.

See, it was never a dangerous weapon, but it was annoying as all get out.

Thankyou Hatfortess 2 gods. made my life as demoman miserable although my bottle claimed more then a few engy faces.
