For the last like 3 weeks, which is way too long for me. Ive been having trouble watching Youtube videos. Ive tried watching it in IE and Firefox, Java, and Flash are up to date. When I play a video it will skip at the beginning no matter if its the video or the commercial. It will go to about 3 seconds and jump back to the beginning, when it does this it also changes the Quality to a higher setting each time until it reaches the highest quality available then it will either freeze or tell me an error has occurred and to click the Learn More link. Nothing on that link is worth mention as it all didn't work. I check earlier tonight to make sure all my settings were good and that I had all my updates. I even tried turning off my Virus protection to see if that had an effect.

Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it? Im thinking it is my internet being absolutely slow since everything else is pretty good.

Well I suppose nevermind. Went and played Dota2 and came back to try again and everything seems to be working ok now. Must have been the updates.

Just in case it happens again check out these links

There are two different things you can try

or

The first one kind of relates to the problems you have. From the research that I did, it seems like it is a fairly common problem and the first link can provide a fix. I am going to assume that you have grease monkey already considering most people that use firefox for a length of time eventually learn about grease monkey.

Anyways, that would be the first thing I would suggest unless someone else posts different.
