Mac headset and mic

These are the two gaming headsets that I have been thinking about buying for use on my gaming iMac:

• Sennheiser PC 360
• Steelseries H Wireless

I currently have a pair of Logitech Wireless Headset H800's. They are ok but become uncomfortable pretty quickly.

im looken at like 100$ at the most i dont play as much as i used to so they wont get a ton of use but i still would like decent ones

Given my experience with the wireless Logitech G930, and the experience of others with it aswell, i would in general advise against wireless headsets. It is an extra layer of complication, and imo not worth the extra money. Sennheisers are good. I recently picked up a Steelseries Siberia V2 (normally 80$, refurb from newegg was 40$ and works good as new), and I really like it so far. Most Logitechs will work fine. Do avoid Razer imo though (a lot of the price is because of the brand and not the quality).

I have the Razer Kraken 7.1's. I just got them, and I love them. And they are right in your price range of about $100.

I have the Sennheiser PC 360, love them. A bit pricey though. Right before I got these, I was using the SteelSeries one you get from Wally World, they seemed pretty nice. Only like $65-70.

Everybody i know swears by turtle beach headset. i personally have never owned them iv used them on xbox 360 and i liked them but i dont know if there quality for mac is any different
