I'll probably end up watching alot of yt/twitch vids of it but don't really plan on buying box price then subscription

ESO is nothing like WoW. It is a lot like playing any of the other ES games but with multiplay. The game itself is actually a breath of fresh air from other MMORPGs. However, not everyone is going to like it.

ESO definitely isn't a WoW type mmo, but it definitely isn't something that is great either. I give it 6 or less months after release before it is ready to go free to play, and that's being generous. As painful as it might sound, the mmo I can compare it most to is Age of Conan *shudder*

Played the ESO beta during the entire weekend stress test. I have to say... I am disappointed. The game was designed very much so like they made a skeleton version of an elderscrolls game and then threw in some multiplayer functions as if into a blender and hit go for results. Movement and combat overall felt much so like an elder scrolls game for the most part. Though it did feel uncomfortable a bit when compared to how it felt in Skyrim. The UI is primarily similar to the rpg elder scrolls games in that it's not very noticeable in a way which would be easier to check things for in tough situations for grouping.

And although I did get to try a few classes and races out for a good 10-15 levels on each. I did notice that even though sometimes you did bump into others to complete the same missions. It hardly was interactive or immersive enough to be honest. Not once was there a time needed to stop and talk to another passing player from my experience to actually form a party or such for the basic quests.

Personally it felt like the alpha Dayz or Rust version of an elder scrolls game with some coop. I did encounter quite a few bugs as well which got quite in the way. As an MMO, it wouldn't be too terrible I guess, but it's definitely not worth what they are asking especially with subscription. On top of the fact that they have an extra option on top of the optional collectors version to pay another 20 bucks to unlock imperial on all which just shouldn't be even sold in the first place. Honestly they didn't spend anywhere near the depth of quality development as compared to Skyrim for ESO. Seems more like they are banking on their popularity of the title...

Well, that's my rant/thoughts on ESO.

Repopulation will be my number one! I've donated money already during kickstarters and such to back the game.

I am also interested in Star Citizen and have considered backing it as well, but we will see.

1-DayZ standalone. I need group of people to play this game properly.

There is a large group of us that play dayz SA in ego right now. You should really hop down to the dayz channel in teamspeak and join in. Usually when the game is running fine it's pretty busy all day.

I think with a company like bethesda eso is going to get its kinks worked out. They listen to the fans and actually try to make things better. Unlike some companys I know......ea......Im really interested to see the final product.
