omg i just learned today that i can get on here at school! it isnt blockd!

as a matter of fact, i am at school now!

the sweetest thing about it is that i have a class where i use nothing but the computer(dont worry i still get all of my work done before i get on)

but you guys will be seeing me on the site more often!

its just too bad i cant actually play tf2 here......oh well, this is good enough! =D

Haven't met a blocking program I couldn't get around.

Although I had to run an apache server at home to get around one of my JC's programs. They were pretty thorough, but good luck blocking port 80 traffic to a random TimeWarner IP.

Mind elaborating on what you did?

Depends on the method of blocking really. Key words on specific pages, white/black listing sites, etc. Different strokes for different folks. Of course, most blocking software is smart enough to also block the sites that would help you get around them. Just find out what software is used and research it at home. Odds are you're not the first person to try and get around it.

The best and easiest way is to use a proxy to circumvent the blocking. Of course, most blocking software will have already blocked most public proxies and if they haven't restricted you from changing internet settings on the computers they fail as admins. So what do you do? Set up your own proxy. Of course, if you lack the technical expertise to do this your next best option is to find software that automates it. PeaceFire.org seems to be down right now, but they'd be your best source of such things as they're a leading anti-censorship group.

Of course, I neither endorse or encourage you to bypass the censorship software that your institution has enabled and that you have likely signed an agreement to abide by. Everything said by myself in this text is entirely for entertainment purposes only and is entirely hypothetical.
