This game was one of the biggest launches I've followed in years, but they nailed the coffin for me not purchasing when they decided against dedicated (as in private, rented by a clan, not what they call dedciated) servers.

I've lost all hype for it and likely won't bother until it goes on sale.

Sure dedicated servers are nice and all, having the ability to do anything you want with a server. However if this game did get dedicated servers, it would probably end up being a Counter strike Global offensive type of deal. 90% of people aim for the "Find a game option" over the search for dedicated servers. That it was lead to the fall of our CS:GO servers.

There are a lot of pros and cons for dedicated and non-dedicated servers. Mainly in my opinion i prefer non-dedicated. Instead of guessing the player base the game is going to achieve, the servers put in place can take the fall if the game is unsuccessful. Another is instead of going to 1 or 2 servers, we can branch out on a wider area for recruits instead of 1 or 2, hoping that they have players on them.

I signed up awhile ago. but they usually go by computer style setups if your computer you registered has good stats you have a higher chance to make it in. but thats not a guarrentee though

I'm in the beta, but the one time I found some time to play all the servers were down.

I still have yet to play it because a project and PlanetSide 2 kept me busy.

I've played a few hours now. It performs well, but 6 vs 6 with the occasional OP juggernaut is kinda boring. I know there are NPCs, but they are about as good as the nanite target dummies in the PS2 VR Training Area.

Thats cos we got spoiled by PS2, CoD/Battlefield guys will prolly love it.

There are a couple of things I like.

I like the decor of the rooms in the buildings.

I like the parkour moves.
