Second assault was released today and I started playing, got through 2 games with no problems then on game 3 I would spawn, then soundloop. Anyone else have this going on?

I've had this issue since the last update, haven't played the new DLC yet as I'm currently on vacation. Supposedly they are working on it to fix it ASAP, but it's EA/DICE so there is no telling when it will actually get fixed.

OK, tried installing that, haven't had time to try it out with that installed, hopefully it works, does anyone else have any ideas, I just uninstalled and re-installed punkbuster last night because i heard that might be a problem as well, so, anything else?

I was having issues as well that went from the occasional "transitioning" errors to full crashes. Could it be a GPU driver issue? I had to update my Nvidia Driver to a Beta driver on Saturday and it seemed to fix the issue, for now.

Hopefully Dice works out all of the kinks before the next Battlefield game.

Yeah, I just updated my graphics driver so I donno what else to try.

I load into any game and 10 seconds into the game I get sound loop crash, I cant play at all anymore I have tried almost everything, very sad :(

This is getting quite annoying... The issue has been reported by multiple people over a week ago when the last patch came out and still no fix. Almost every single game results in sound loop and game freeze. Player appreciation week, eh? >.>

I might have found my fix. I got through a whole 2 games with this! just changing the sound settings to the 16bit 48000 Hz DVD quality from the 24bit 48000 Hz studio quality. So far so good, just have to hope it stays good.

If that doesn't work then make a user.cfg file in your BF4 folder (should be program files(x86)->origin games->Battlefield 4) and paste this line of code into it:

GameTime.MaxVariableFps 61

If you have a 120Hz monitor or a 144Hz monitor, change the 61 to 121 or 145, respectively.
