Possible Titanfall Division

I know that BF, CS, TF, and DoD have been around a while and we have divisions for those games; why not start up a Titanfall Division. If the higher ups are ok with the idea of starting a Titanfall division, I'm all for it!

We have quite a few people interested in the game, but eGO has a process via the Operation X Division for Researching, Testing, and Integrating new supported games. As Dangle said, if Titanfall has a large userbase in eGO and it is decided that it is to be supported, it would be first supported under the OP:X umbrella.

That game was awesome, looking forward to it. I wonder since its running on some sort of source engine if admining will be the same as tf2, cs, dods. [Yes it runs on source, It told me so when I tried to open other source games to idle and it didnt let me] Also wonder what they plan on doing with dedicated server support

Silly Legend the beta ended... No more Titanfall till March i'm afraid.

Aye. The game doesn't even launch until the 11th of March so the TS room is moot until then. Maserati, the last I read there was no plan to support private hosted/rented servers with only a Party and Lobby system. I'm hoping they change that if the launch is as big as it seems it will be.

Yeah without private hosted/rented severs, it would be difficult we us to support the game as a division. I wish Loadout has a private hosted/rented server setup.

Looking forward to it... If your purchased via origin the preload should be avaliable on the 7th.
I have been checking TS for a Titanfall channel its good to know there is now one available. See everyone on the 11th

my question is ill legend should be more up to date with game releases if he is going to talk about them... saying a room is empty is pointless because i been on the new TS server and "many of the rooms are empty" so why not get rid of those as well? no i am not being a downside here i am meerly stating a fact... but Titanfall has been done since middle of february.. and releases tonight at 12:00 central... predownloads have already been issued.. but either way you can start up a division within OPX. but it would take time and "decisions" because it is supposed to be server based which would allow EGO to own a server... but if it becomes a server that EA owns then they probably wont support it.

The way the game is set up, it would be very hard to have our own server even if one could host it..You don't select the server you dive into, IT does that for you.

Rather unlikely it will be supported at all would be my guess, besides a simple teamspeak room or two. This has pretty much been the standard for eGO when it comes to games that do not allow for servers, besides mmo type games.
