I was just curious how everyone chose their gamer names. Mine is Undert0w with a zero. I kept the Zero in my gamer name because in most mmorpg?s I?ve played Undertow was already taken .So it just kind of stuck. Undertow is also the name of a great Tool album and song that I've been able to relate to in my life. It?s been my tag for almost 11 years. I almost drowned as a small child because of a riptide and I thought it was a fitting gamer tag as well. Was just curious to hear other peoples gamer tag origins! Cheers. :thumbup1:

That's a very good question ;)
Okay well as a Kid I always loved tactical warfare and stuff. Studied napoleon outside of school, took military tactical starts and stuff (studied them) and stuff and I was always fascinated with spies and people going undercover. I spent hours studying great men like alexander the great and napoleon. Looking at their warfare technics :P
Anyways Since i loved undercover operations and spies
UnderCoverSpy
I loved the number 6. But UnderCoverspy6 doesn't sound really nice so i added 10 and now I am know as UnderCoverSpy16 The great, ruler of dustbowl and randomizer ;)

Mine isn't as interesting as you guys. I love animals, I have a passion for animals, even when I see a stray I try to do what I can, I maybe buy them food or take them in to a shelter. I have 1 cat now, I used to have two, but one got hit by a car. Anyways, being a Ninja or secret killer has always been my persona in video games at least. I always try to pick the stealthiest of any of the other classes. I decided to mix the two after seeing a commercial about 5 years ago called "Meowcenaries" I decided to rip off that name seeing as it fit my online persona and love of cats. ( The actual game is a game full of cat assassins made by Adult Swim. I used to watch it a lot. )

It was an interesting read about you guys. Thanks for sharing

Thanks for sharing its pretty interesting regardless! I have 3 dogs , 3 cats so it's cool nice gamer tag Meowcenaries!

My name originated from playing Star Wars Battlefront. I took the Darth from there. My dog would always bark at me when I played, so i decided to change my name to "DarthFluffles". Googled it up one day and turned out my name was being used by somebody on DeviantArt >:C So I changed it to D4rthFluffles, and I've stuck with it ever since.

I was making a new wow alt and I just happened to type g?o?j?e. goje

My favorite books when I was younger were the Keys to the Kingdom series, by Garth Nix. They centered around Arthur Penhaligon, the Rightful Heir of the Architect of the universe itself.

He was opposed by seven semi-divine beings of extreme power: Mr. Monday, Grim Tuesday, Drowned Wednesday, Sir Thursday, Lady Friday, Superior Saturday and Lord Sunday. Altogether they were known as the Morrow Days. Each of them was afflicted with one of the Seven Deadly Sins.

I chose Monday because
A. It sounded cool.
B. I'm a somewhat lazy person and I'm always tired. Monday's sin was socordia (sloth). He's always sleeping and has to work to get himself to do anything. It fit my personality fairly well.
And C: His Key to the Kingdom was a sword shaped like the hands of a clock. How cool is that?

So, there's the story of my name.

I really loved those books too. Also, I think it's interesting that out of all of them, Mr. Monday was perhaps the only one who grasped the severity of what was happening in the house, but his sloth kept him from doing anything about it.

Clavietika Tres Ojos is a character from a story written to accompany The Mars Volta's album De-Loused in the Comatorium.
I started using the name Clavietika in gaming years ago (primarily in WoW and when I first signed up for Steam) and it kind of just stuck (read: lazy).

Edit: Another tag I use frequently is The Cat Army and I almost signed up with that but didn't at the last minute. I don't know why.

Nice, that is a pretty good album I think Televators and Roulette Dares are my favorite tunes on that album. :thumbup1:

My name was originally Toki Wartooth, the character from the television show "Metalocolypse", which I have not watched in for-flippin-ever. Anyways, a forum I joined didn't allow spaces in the name, so it got shortened to TokiWartooth. After a while, someone who was named "Meatwaud" changed his name, because he was tired of being named after a cartoon character. I decided I felt the same, and decided either between "Tokiw" and "Ugonowk". Tokiw won the popular vote, so it stuck!

Yet for some strange reason... People that haven't known my previous alias...Call me "Toki", rather than "Tokiw". Maybe some of you can give me a bit of an explanation as to why that is? It seems to be like a 50/50 tossup between what I get called.

Shy guy, because in real life I don't talk to people. i am the shyest person you'll ever know. though i had some other username. mainly ones that are characters I like since i am too brain-dead to come up with anything original.
