e's that were on the G team, you will be able to join the G v O scrim on the G team if there are open slots after the Gs have joined.
If there are still open slots after that, then any e is free to join the G team.

why act surprised? it's designed that way.
the tf2 experience level is (generally but not necessarily) eGO>eG>e.
not to mention the newer members know each other less and are shyer about communication.

by the end(actually more like the earlyish-middle) some people just gave up or stopped caring. we had a idles and and a player deficit almost the entire time so... but it's the same with eGO/eG vs e or any of the previous versions of this event

as i'm like to be the longest ever eG without promotion i've been to enough of these to know the general pattern: eGO/eG vs e -> communication, up votes, generally a good vibe, epicness, get rights to be snarky after winning the glorious battle, blah blah. eGO vs. eG/e -> not so much, more like just being on a pub server, complete with a *sliver* of animosity/annoyance to the "wth is wrong with you?" guy who built his sentry in the wrong spot or the extra sniper they didn't need or whatever else when someone goes what they wanted to be rather than what they "needed" to be or didn't know how properly play whatever class.

i say at the next one of these you turn auto-balance back on after the thing starts. it would help a little i think
