Just let me warn you now it takes a lot of time and effort to make good entertaining videos ( so if you need any help get started i will help you) im not doing any of the event videos (for now) so you can take up that job if you would like to.

Honestly I wouldn't start making YouTube videos expected to get big and make a career out of it or something. It's not as good a job as many people think. It's very difficult to constantly make videos that people will want to watch, even more so now a days since that the current YouTube "market" is completely saturated with crappy "lets plays". If you want to get big then you have to do something that will be interesting and different, not just random funny game play clips or recording yourself playing a game. As for actually making money, I can speak from personal experience and it's very hard. Although I'm not sure exactly how it's calculated, I can say that my most popular video (Lag Compensation) has gotten about 1,000 views and I have made grant total of $0.27 from it. I uploaded this video back in December and have yet to make a single cent more since the end of January. Of course I didn't try and advertise it or anything, I just made the video for fun and uploaded it so my friends could see it. I don't want to discourage you from doing this, but I don't want you to fall into the trap of thinking that YouTube is a nice way to make a living then realizing how hard it really is later and being very disappointed. My advice is to just do the YouTube thing for fun and if you happen to get really popular then all the more awesome.

Haha I'm in no way trying to make this my career, I'm just trying to have some fun making some cool videos and maybe some cash will come out of it while I'm in the process of getting a real job. But I totally understand what you're saying, it's hard out here for a pimp
