Yeah, filling is hard on points.
So are new players. If a brand new player joins the server, one of their kills on me is worth THIRTEEN of mine on them.
But whatever.
Yeah, meaningless internet points are fun and all, but at the end of the day, you can't buy anything with them.![]()

I can never have "fun" on our servers.. Like a demo caber knight or rocket jumper, i lose too many points. When i want to play differently (for fun) it's either mvm or random servers. This is why i have been playing a lot of MvM lately..... I need to play the game not try harding too much and playing for fun.... Gameme does not let me do that ;-;
I had a four to one KD today and had -88 points. I hate gameme.
You don't have fun on our servers? But people play video games to have fun. Playing them but not having fun is a bit unorthodox to me

When you get past 100, all you do to keep your rank is to be a total douchebag tryhard and point farmer (Unless you're a medic, those guys rake in the points without even trying). It takes all the fun out of the game. If you type !gameme_vanish 1 you exchange perhaps 100 ranks for an extreme amount of fun.
I think you're undervaluing Medic skills. Yes, a player can be baseline useful as a Medic if they do a few things right. Once that player gets to the point where he is dropping 25 points per death, it's a lot harder to gain any ground. Even with 4 points per Medic assist, he needs a bunch, and an uber, and then probably some points for healing... to break even per each death.
FWIW, I really don't think rankings should exist cross-class. I like stat-tracking but the ranking side of it doesn't make much sense. If you play on the servers a bit, you tend to know who is good and who isn't anyway.
