Has anyone noticed that the BF4 servers get extremely lopsided and tend to stay that way round after round? I've seen lots of pubs complaining about it and I would have to agree that is sucks being stuck on the losing team round after round and getting beat by 500+ tickets. I know it is a team driven game and some of it is unavoidable but losing to a team that still has 50% or more of its' tickets gets old fast.

Any thoughts on tweaking the auto balance feature?

Auto balance only balances the teams numberwise by moving the player who logged in to the server last. You can't possibly expect to, for example, make it so that the best or worst player gets transferred, that wouldn't be fair to those players. Wins and losses are both a 50:50 chance, even those with big ticket differences. All our servers have team scrambling enabled, which should partially prevent the same teams winning over and over again. However wins and losses are always a great random, sometimes you win couple times in a row, other times you are on the losing streak and there is nothing you can do about it. It's just how things work.

I agree, and also, maybe if they did a little less complaining and a little more playing, they might make some progress... Food for thought

I mainly asked because ours is the first server I've seen people actually complaining about it. Like I said, I know some of it is unavoidable but when I'm looking for servers to play, I'm much more likely to pick one that has a close match as compared one that is completely lopsided.

I was recently in a server that balanced me mid-game to the losing team three rounds in a row and I'll have to admit that it did kind of suck but we ended up winning two out of the three, all in close scores. I certainly wasn't the last to join nor was I the best or worst player on the team. Now that I think of it, several people did complain about getting team switched like I did so I guess you can't please everyone.

I was just wondering if there were any other options to fix the dramatically offset matches and I guess venting for the pubs I saw complaining.

I understand it is what it is, carry on.

Thanks.

Yeah sometimes we are at the mercy of mother luck, or players that don't realize that taking and keeping objectives win the game. Today I was on our popular map server and lost I believe 4-5 times in a row and it wasn't for lack of good players just people trying to be pro snipers, based camping AAs or just people trying to win the medal of honor and take our a whole position with no back up. I understand where you are coming from Coiz and I see plenty of the pubs complaining but most of those complaining are the ones I talked about.

Does suck getting blown out by 400 tickets though haha.

I think it just happens and when it does it sucks, I just got done on the ADK Metro server, it was stacked by some other clan and it made me want to push harder personally.

While yes people should complain less and play more this topic has been coming up every months or so which leads me to believe that it actually is something wrong with how our autobalancer is set up. I think Super and Thundr should tweak with it to see if they can fix the issue.
