Sorry if this isn't exactly appropriate to post, but I wanted you all to know how much I appreciate you.

I'm a really shy person. It's hard for me to meet new people. One of the reasons I joined this clan was to try to help myself get over that.

I joined a few weeks ago, but could never really work up the nerve to get on TS or really talk to anyone.

Then tonight, I was bored. The people I usually play games with all went offline. I was about to fire up YouTube and watch a video when I received a random friend request. I noticed he was from eGO and the first thing that went through my head was "Oh no, they are mad because I haven't been on." What I received was exactly the opposite. JD invited me to connect to the Teamspeak and hang out for a bit.

Within 30 mins, I felt like I was one of the guys. Never before have I felt like I fit in so well. I'd put names here of the people that made me feel so welcome, but there were so many that I can't remember them all, so to avoid missing anyone and hurting their feelings, I'm just gonna say thanks a lot, guys. You all rock. :thumbup:

But anyway. Always feel welcome to join some of us on Teamspeak or on the servers, because you certainly are. Events, too. Those are lots of fun. I used to be pretty shy as well, but over the months I've been here, I've made dozens of handfuls of good friends here, and we talk regularly on Steam chat and various eGO servers. You're lucky to be in da best division here c;

I know the feeling, as you can see, I'm op:x and when I went to the tf2 servers, I was welcomed as if I was a member of the tf2 div. everyone is great to be with and they are just so nice.this place is very welcoming and they take in all new members as if they were family, and we really are just one big family In a sense because we all care for each other.

As spy said, the meet n' greets are great. When I first joined, op:x diddnt have a meet n' greet, so i had to get to know people the hard way. When I went on the vent server(now we use team speak) they were doin a meet n greet, unknown to me. When I went in, no one knew me because I was new. The meet n greet helped me to meet a lot of great people and to make some friends. Meet n greets are great for everyone not just the new guys. It gives older guys a chance to meet new guys, new guys meet new guys, and it's just a blast.
