Hello there, Im Dr.Compton from the DoD:S Division and I have a request from the best communtiy that I know.

Im in the military and a very good friend of mine recently just discharged from the Military, a few weeks later him and his wife found out that their baby son has Kidney Cancer. My workplace has gotten together and started a fundraiser to help support my friend and his family while they go through some very tough times in the near future.

What branch of the military? Look into using the flower cup fund that units maintain, Family Readiness Group, and the Family Programs. If he was JUST discharged he should still be receiving Tricare (Unless he was reserve), that should cover him for six months after service.

The tricare is still covering him, but they'll be needing support longer than six months out.
