I found a small thread within the Planetside 2 sub forum that was offering keys a while back. After having redeemed a key and playing two betas, I jumped on the chance to pre-order and am now registered for early access.

Overall, I found myself incredibly satisfied with the game and find the subscription to be worth it, especially when considering there will be monthly content updates. Sub-games are always tricky to justify, especially when we have a powerhouse like WoW just down the street. However, I think ESO has a decent chance at providing a quality MMO that caters to the more serious and mature crowd (based off of WoW and Wildstars cartoony approach to the genre).

With all of this said, my question is whether anyone else within eGO is planning on playing Elder Scrolls Online. If we have enough interest, I'd love to see a unified AvA Campaign, as well as a faction (though I will be rolling Daggerfall Covenant it would seem).

I posted a wile back about ESO and no one else was interested.

I'll also be playing, since interest seemed low in ego I've been looking for a guild outside of the community and I found one that's going to have sub-guilds in all the factions (but with different focusses like crafting, PvE or PvP) so I'll definately have a Covenant character and were allowed to have 5 guilds per account (not per character) per server.

Be sure to add me in-game as friend @Confurius

I'm interested. It would be great for eGO to support eso, that would be so much fun

I decided awhile back not to buy this game... but that was before they tweeked it a bit. Kinda looks like PS:2 in the sense of base capture, but with a bit of Warhammer Online Keep defense. Both aspects of those games I love and missed very much. I was wondering myself if anyone here would be playing kinda bummed out when I saw no real support.

I feel ya with the support. If we got enough people though, I bet we could have a good chance of gettin supported. We just need member power.

I think the problem with people supporting a new game like this is the sheer fact is its new and untested. We all seen it before, we get hyped with the newest most promising MMO only to find out after 2 months the game lacks any promising content that will keep a steady return. I am burned out myself trying to find a steady game that actually appeals to me.

I can agree with the steadiness. If they just re released skyrim with online capabilities, and a new name It would do good because that game is great as is, but multiplayer would make it even better. I have this feeling pop is going to be super common online. Haven't played eso yet, but I have it on preorder.

Awesome! I'll be playing DC with the Pathwalkers for the time being.

Also, @Boostpunk is how you can contact me. I figure the different factions won't be an issue once we hit 50 and begin questing in the other faction zones, especially considering that ZOS has stated (if I recall correctly) that hitting 50 allows cross-faction communication.

YES!

Dear god, this is good to know that we have at least 4-5 eGO members who are going to be playing/looking to play.

Again, reach me at @Boostpunk. The guild I'll be playing with (should eGO not gain enough support for the title) may be found here. They're a great group of guys and gals!

When it goes free to play, was unimpressed during the multiple beta weekends I got in to. But it felt better than Wildstar at least, which was even more disappointing for me lol :|

I'm going to try this game as well. However I'm not going for any preorder/early access (done that to many times lol).

I don't know that much about the Elder Scrolls lore, etc. so I'm curious as to why so many seem to go for the Daggerfall Covenant? At least on the sites I've been reading on it seem like the DC is the most preferred.

Anyone want to fill me in?

I've noticed DC is pretty popular too. During the beta I would have wagered AD would be the most popular. But I'm not certain the choice is based on lore.

Apparently Breton Sorcerers are a very strong class and race combination and some pick DC for that. I'm not into the min-maxing thing so I generally don't understand what they are talking about.

Another reason is that the Main Quest for EP was considered dull while AD and DC were considered fun. And with Main Quest I mean the quests associated with first big area since most beta players didn't get to play in the later areas.

Only Council can create and in-game representation of eGO. If they are not willing, then it will have to have a different name.
