Master Server problems

I went overseas for about 4 months a month ago and I come back and CS:S will not connect to the master server. I have uninstalled/reinstalled it. I have no firewall on and I don't know what to do. I really want to play CS:S really bad. Any suggestions?

Try reinstalling steam if you haven't already. Defrag,disc clean-up before reinstall. Check updates to CS:S maybe running different version, bout all I got.

Deleting "clientregisty.blob" in the Steam directory can help too.

Thanks for the help. Nothing seems to help. I just downloaded TF classic and it will not connect either.

I would think about it more if it wasn't for genuwine windows. My copy of XP is burned so even if I don't register the serial key I still may not get my updates.

Oh for some reason it works now. Thanks for all the responses. 3rd time of reinstalling CS:S and cleaning out my registry.
