So for the Specialized fan boys like myself, they just updated their site with the new 650b Stumpjumpers. For those who aren't that familiar with 650b, its a 27.5 inch rim, its designed to have the handling properties of a 26'er and the speed of a 29'er. So far it appears Specialized only has 650b sizes for the Stumpjumper FSR Comp EVO and the Stumpy Comp Carbon EVO. Picking up one of these bad boys will run you around $3,500 for the aluminium and $6,500 will get you on the Carbon model. I'm sure they will be adding more affordable models to the lineup soon as well as some hard tails. Below is their current lineup for the Stumpjumpers including the new 650b's if you guys want the specific specs on each model. SPECIALIZED
Here is the current color options for the carbon models ($6,500)
And here are the alloy models ($3,500)
As you can see, most of the Specialized mid to higher end models are running Rockshox forks, a change from previous years models which has Fox forks. Some might say this is a downgrade but having owned both (Fox Reba 32 130mm and a Rockshox Revelation 150mm) I can say the quality and performance is there in the Rockshox. If you are a fan boy and cannot decide between 26'er and a 29'er, look no further, the Stumpjumper is a world renown trail bike which now has a 650b option...take my money now.
