I need it quiet when I game so I can hear people walking up on me (in-game).
 
Yeah it depends on the situation.

FPS games - almost never

MMO games - almost always.

osu! is pretty much 100% music, so I would say yes. I listen to music while I play LoL or any MMO really. I'll even listen while playing fps unless it's comp on CS:GO.
 
I have enough trouble trying to talk in teamspeak and in game at the same time.....
 
Depends on my mood and the game I'm playing. In FPS games (type of games I usually play) depends if I'm going try hard or just messing around. Also depends on whether or not I'm on teamspeak. Cause I like to blast my music, so they don't fit together so well.
 
Definitely depends on the situation (I always turn my music off if I'm listening for spies in TF2), but I thoroughly approve of the BF Advisor option

The question is: Does Music listen to himself while playing?
 
Generally not. I even find TeamSpeak very distracting if I'm actually trying to play hard (try harding, haha). When I played Battlefield, I could always use a little metal to go along with it. TF2... I don't know. What music is best for such a silly game?
 
I like to be able to hear the boots coming. Just game sounds and TS for me.
 
It will just depends on the game. Some games I can play just fine with music on and other games I need to hear the surroundings.
 
Depends on the mood. Majority of the time it's listening to people fight over mic (which is hilarious imo.. >_>) but I do shut off the in-game voice so I can listen to my music
 
Other, I used to when I played CoD, not for eGO but when I was much younger but I feel like battlefield requires more attention. But sometimes I will when I'm playing solo games, like RTS games.
 
Usually have some form of 90's hip-hop playing through my headphones. I play mostly off reaction and where I see people dying.
 
I don't.. I am a spy i need to be aware of my surroundings constantly. I need my game sound... Spy <3
 
I listen to my own music when playing Binding of Isaac. It's actually a great game to do so.
 
Yep, Viking metal while playing CS:S and going berserk.. When not I just listen to Passenger or acoustic music
