Yes, I'm a heavy GW2 gamer and GW2 forbid selling accounts. Even though many still do it, but if GW2 finds out, account will be banned. A few years ago, a person sold a GW2 account for $1,000.00. It had 10,000 Gold and Gems in it and a dozen + characters ranked up with rare weapons. 6 months later, the person who sold the account complained to GW and said their account was stolen. So GW gave the account back to them and the person who purchased the account, got screwed out of $1,000.00. Totally unfair to that person. GW said, it was illegal to purchase and sell existing accounts and that they couldn't do anything about it.
So I would advise that you just stop playing the game, but don't try to sell it. Even though your a trusted person and that you wouldn't never try to take the account back, it is still illegal to do.
Just my two cents. Take it anyway you like.
