For the past 3 of 4 weeks day of defeat source has been closing by itself without warning or error message, and i am wondering what is going on, it can't be my graphics card cause that's brand new and so is my computer so i don't know what else to do to fix this problem and it is very annoying and keeping from wanting to play any games, PLEASE HELP.

I've seen this arround the DoD steam community, people ask an awful lot about this problem. it seems to be a glitch or bug in steam , but i don't got any problems with it. there is nowhere real info to be found about this problem.
im still fighting my problem in steam , because of a bug , my personal scores get messed up , like i got 3400 kills ( as example ) and 4 kills, or most of kills got resetted, i got more kills with sniper in only the ego map , than my personal ( total ) score is saying. i probably will never get my scores back is what steam told me... 1500+ hours of scores gone.
in short, i really hope your problem got fixed soon ! or that you will find a solution.

Been happening to me for the last few days too. It shuts down whenever I go to disconnect or switch to another server.
