Anyone with Windows phone

Hello guys,

I'm a big fanboy of Nokia and I'm currently using a Nokia Lumia 1020 with 41MP camera.

I have recently updated to Windows phone 8.1 and I'm absolutely loving it.

Love Cortana and the home screen is just awesome.

Any fellow eGO member using Windows phone? Love to hear from fellow members.

I just got a Nokia Lumia 520 to replace my now dead Zune120. Not using it for phone functions as it was actually a prepaid phone for just $60 (put in a 64GB MicroSD). Thanks for reminding me to make sure the phone is updated; I haven't had a chance to check out Cortana. My beef is MS half-fail way of getting music set up on the phones. I got the Zune Music Pass, but I also have to download/use the Window Phone App to transfer music from Zune through the WinPhone App to the 520. And DRM right doesn't transfer over when you sync music either...

All i do is create playlist on windows media player and transfer/sync with my phone... I have no idea about Zune music pass, i have xbox music pass and it works like charm, Xbox music is still in beta and an update coming within a month or so. It already syncs seamlessly between my laptop's music app and the phone.

Zune is the Xbox Music pass predecessor. It came out when MS made the Zune MP3 players, and those with an existing subscription were grandfathered in (10 songs we can choose to own + unlimited downloads of DRM music for $15/mo). You wouldn't have a problem since you're using the new version, but I'm still using my grandfathered subscription.

Pretty much all music, playlists, podcasts, and videos I sync via Zune Music Player to my phone appear under Music + Videos app. However, any songs that I do own, or download through the Xbox Music App, will also appear under that. However, none of my existing downloaded DRM music or playlists will appear under it as well. And I'm using Windows 7 so I don't have the Windows 8 app versions of the above software so it's really screwing people up with older subscriptions, and DRM music existing on Window 7 and Zune machines.
