Spark told me not to do this so I did it anyway
I know I haven't been here for the full 4 years, but lets not get in to the dark time i wasn't with edgegamers. I joined eGO when I was 13, back in 2010. Looking back I made a lot of embarrassing threads that I don't even know why I posted. Like this one, or this, and plenty more if you go to my profile. I've met some people that I've hated, and some people that I'm friends with to this day. EdgeGamers has brought me some of the best, best friends that I've ever had, even in real life. For the few that fall under that category get a special group in my friends list:
My time here in eGO has been great. I've been an EC, AT, SFC, and the competitive team captain. For those of you who don't know, I was in the FPS:X (OP:X) towards the end of 2011, and that's where I became an EC and later an AT. This was back when fps:x supported APB and where I met one of the friends I mentioned above, Kek15 (shawn), who has since stopped gaming to focus on real life. After Christmas in 2011 I was demoted to e again for getting my self in trouble too many times. A member named Abdul had previously said that he was thinking about making a new community, and so I pushed him to start it, and so from January 1st 2012 - March 2013, I was apart of his clan. During that period is when I met Death and Malenskii. Those two basically taught me how to play competitively in css. I believe in August of this year was around the time I rejoined eGO have previously not being allowed to. That's where I met Snooch (the original comp team leader) and he let me play even though I joined late, which I am very grateful for, even though he had to sit people who had been there since the beginning. Snooch decided to step down because of real life, and at that time I took over the comp team and shaped it to what it is now.
Now for some honorable mentions. Now, this isn't gonna be a "let me name all the leadership members to look good" like some year threads, this is going to be an honest list of people who have affected my time here positively. If your name isn't on here, it doesn't mean i hate you, just means you haven't affected my time here positively.
Cadashawhit - Probably supports the comp team more than anyone else. He is always interested in when our next match is, and I believe he watched almost every match that was played on our server. He also matchmakes regularly with us, and we almost always have a laugh when we play.
Ric - Always love hearing your stories, as well as you not giving a hell about what anyone says. Ric is also apart of the small group that watches most of our matches and is interested in how we're doing.
Death, Malenskii, & Kek15 - Some of the best friends I've ever had, even in real life. These are the people who put up with my crap. I rant to them, and they listen and give me advice, whether it be real life or in eGO. Thank you.
Spark & kenny - Biggest trolls of eGO. Always make me laugh.
Buffhamster - Another big troll who makes me laugh every time im in a room with you
Suay - you're a goofy nerd. i love your laugh
Bay Area - Although i think you are annoying as hell most of the time, you still helped the comp team grow to what it is today. Thank you for your leadership.
TheJollyRoger - You were the most loyal member of the comp team. There were times i sat you 5 minutes before a match because a starter came online, and you didn't show any emotion.
Enfohip - Another person who listens to my rants. You're like Jolly in a sense where you don't care what I do or say.
MGR & Ashley - Good times matchmaking, thank you!
Martyr - You use words i don't understand but you're still a pretty cool dude, when we playing dod?
Papa Snooch - Thanks for starting the comp team, wouldn't be anywhere without you.
And all the people who work hard to keep this division going.
