Need a good recording software!!

I just got a new PC and it's awesome, fast and super powerful. Since i have never owned any PC or laptop that is really fast I have never considered Recording videos. But now I can!! So i am looking (for now) for a FREE recording software for games likes TF2, Tomb raider and other cool games. I was thinking of this http://obsproject.com/ but i need opinion.

OBS, XSplit and FRAPS are the ONLY ones you should even look at. I have used each and still use OBS and Xsplit. Both are also programs you can use to stream to Twitch.tv and all. But you can record with them as well. IF you need some help let me know, and ill talk to ya on teamspeak/skype about it all.

I mean, that from someone that has live streamed, and recorded pc/xbox game play for years, ive used many different programs. Still do. I just mean xsplit is by far, much better the obs and the others for local recordings.

Fox, if you had read my post, I did say to try Fraps. The only problem ith fraps is the... well the quality of the videos and the size. Dont go there anymore. too many better programs out there

I am a rair breed, I recommand http://www.alienware.com/. I have 3. Two laptop's and a desktop, the laptop is 6 years old, my desktop is 2 years old both can play all my games on my steam list.

Carl, thats computers, not recording software. lol. Also, custom builds work better then alienware in the long run. Speaking from someone thats used many alienware, owned 12 of them. And build 6 of my own, and currently on a $12k that NO alienware can come close to.
