Our upper leadership team will be hosting an important Clan Wide Meeting to update everyone on the recent Council and Community Manager changes. All members are highly encouraged to attend this meeting.

5:00 PM Pacific

There will be time for a brief Q&A session to answer any questions you may have.

This was posted to our leadership forum to explain the short notice:

This is a meeting we couldn't wait till next week on considering we are moving forward with all of the changes. Everything was happening very quickly and unfortunately there was no time for advanced notice. This isn't a regularly scheduled "monthly" Clan Wide Meeting by any means - this is an important announcement that can't be put off.

For those who can not attend, a recording will be provided and a news article will be posted tomorrow.

In a nutshell...
Council has been renamed to Community Managers.
Community Managers will be expected to participate more than before.
They Report to USCG Hammer .. the new Chief Executive Officer.
Community Managers and the Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for community Day to Day operations.

The Community Managers position has been refocused as Board of Directors.





Community Managers are the key decision makers for the clan. They are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day community operations. All policy is handed down to the clan by them either directly or by delegation to the Division Leaders.

The community's Chief Executive Officer leads this group and acts as the liaison to the Board of Directors.

Board of Directors members are ultimately responsible, to the world outside of the clan, for everything within eGO. They approve major decisions for the community and rely on the wisdom of the management team to guide the community as a whole. They do not participate in day-to-day operations, this responsibility is entrusted to the Community Managers.

The community's Chairman leads this group.
 
Dang it I missed the meeting, due to trying to get my automotive shop up and running!:facewall:
