Logitech G9

So my girlfriend spilled a margarita on my G7 and now the scroll wheel is all sticky. I'm thinking about buying a new mouse and am between the G7 and the G9. I've never used a G9, so I wanted some opinions about it. Anyone have any?

Good way to clean it off, turn a can of compressed air upside down and freeze the wheel a bit, then melt the 'ice' and it should get the sticky stuff off. Just don't get it too wet or it could mess up the mouse completely.
