Anime [Complete] INITIAL D FINAL STAGE

Continuing where Fifth Stage left off. Final Stage will consist of a total of four episodes and a trilogy of theatrical releases.

Final Stage will be focusing on the long-awaited final 86 vs 86 battle between Takumi and Shinji and started airing on May 17, 2014.

Legend 1 -Awakening- first part of the trilogy is slated for release in theaters on August 23rd, 2014

I am very excited for this final season and sad that it is the last hurrah for the series as it was in my top five anime. The Eurobeats makes it all the more awesome for me.

I can't wait to watch it with english dubs. or subs.
Hoping Funimation will pick it up.. they did an awesome job with the first 4 stages.
I'm thinking Shinji is Takumi's step brother or brother.... That's my guess.

Love the arcade game but have yet to watch the anime. It's been on my to watch list for a while.

I remember the viz media dub they had on there a long time ago... I wanted to cry and then go do unthinkable things, Dont EVER watch that version of the dubs. lol Glad Funimation took over. Definitely is addictive and the games are awesome, I have the PSP street stage one on my Note 3 and play it on the go. I also remember having the soundtrack playing in my car.

I'm thinking Shinji is Takumi's step brother or brother.... That's my guess.

新劇場版「頭文字D」NEW Initial D The Movie (Promo Video)
HAPPY 8/6 DAY, everyone!! With a little over two weeks left before the big release of the New Initial D The Movie, エイベックス・グループ（avex group）released a promo video that shows more details of the first of the trilogy release.

As expected, the first of the trilogy will focus on the First Stage plot between Takumi and Keisuke. The whole video gives off this "OVA" feel despite the fact that it's just a re-adaptation.
