RIP Wacko, Congrats Hackfest

Wacko.. what can I say about the man who was in love with the dark and conspicuous block known as the Obsidian? He was one of the coolest and funniest people I've ever met, he would make me laugh and smile on Ventrilo (and TS3) even though I was feeling down, and he was like a father towards me. I can still remember clearly when he was deciding on quitting MineCraft, and he said he would sell me his house if I was willing to buy it. His house, was of couse, made of Obsidian so it was really fabulous.

I'll always miss Wacko deep down in my heart, and he will always be remembered in my mind. He was like one of those old geezer's who could be cranky, but still lovable at all times. I remember, one time he briefly mentioned his illness to me and I would ask him if he was doing good, or if he was feeling better every time he'd come either into MineCraft or onto Ventrilo. Eventually after I'd asked him a few times, he PM'd me, telling me that I didn't have to worry about him, and I had to focus on my future.

"Death must be so beautiful. To lie in the soft brown earth, with the grasses waving above one's head, and listen to silence. To have no yesterday, and no tomorrow. To forget time, to forget life, to be at peace.

- Oscar Wilde

Wacko... what can I say about him? I don't believe many of us knew of his battle with cancer, myself included, but I am very sad to hear that he passed. I'd like to make this sound like a beautiful eulogy, but I guess I'll just get to the point. I didn't know wacko as well as some of you, but we were good friends and he always made me laugh and smile. He was a very kind man who will be greatly missed. I give my deepest condolences to his loved ones.

"I had a friend who was a clown. When he died, all his friends went to the funeral in one car"
-Steven Wright, American comedian

That is something Wacko would greatly appreciate :)

Even with our disagreements, I always saw wacko as that old man who got on my nerves sometimes, but was loveable all the same. From me buying his unique amazing obsidian house for noodle & me, to his time on the server. It's important to look at the good times I had with him, and not the bad. My condolences to his wife, and all of the people who were touched by him. Wherever he is, I hope he looks down on us with a smile.

Damn... I'm gonna miss ol' CrazyWacko. Rest In Peace brother. :( <3

And congratulations Hack and Koosh!

:crying: Wow... this is absolutely unbelievable. Wacko was always one of the best friends I ever had within eGO. It's hard to imagine the Minecraft server without him. He always brought a certain feeling that no one else could. R.I.P pal.

It's hard to know what to say at a time like this... Wacko, you will live in our memories. We will miss you - your obsidian creations, a fun chat, your sense of humor, your constant efforts to make the server and the community better. It was a pleasure and a privilege to know you. Rest well.

When I saw the notification on my phone about this thread I was in shock
and couldn't reply. Wacko was one of the kindest and nicest people that
I met over the years here in eGO. And I will miss him greatly, I'm not great
with these kind of things but after hearing the news I took a taxi after work
to a really good bar and had one drink in his honour.

I wish we had more time to hang out as I always loved talking to him, I am really
sad about the news and I know he will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Thank you for being a part of my experience here an I will always remember and miss you.
Rest in peace my friend.

Rest in peace. I never knew wacko but may he rest with the lands and be treated well.

Im sorry to hear about Wacko i just found out. He was one of the bright spots in the division at times. He was a fun person to be around. The community wont be the same with out him.

RIP Wacko my friend!

Rest in Paradise CrazyWacko.

I was thinking about this when I was walking home earlier today, maybe the MC Division should erect a statue of CrazyWacko's Skin (if some of you have pictures of it or remembers what it was). I think it would be a great dedication to him and all that he did for the division. A good spot that it could be built is right by the post office that he managed. Let me know if this is a good idea. :)

I had tears in my eyes when I read the title of the thread and now I am crying. Wacko was a great friend of mine. He was always around when you wanted to talk on vent or ts3. He understood your struggles and helped you trough them. His humour during does times where a helping hand for all. He will be greatly missed not by just me, but by the community. A great man has passed away, but I hope he is happy where ever he is now.

Rest in peace my friend.

dang sorry to here this. Rest in peace wacko.

congrats Hackfest and Kooshball!

I didn't talk to Wacko all that often, maybe seeing him on the server every once in a while, but I do remember him being a kind, older guy who would play on the server always willing to help someone out. My condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew him.

This is something that has hit me very hard. I can't believe that he is gone. He was a very good friend. I send my condolences to his family. I am crying like a baby... Wow... We will miss you wacko

I never knew Wacko, he was before my time in eGO. I feel, however, that I must post something. From what I have heard is he was a great person, always there to help someone who needed it and never said that he couldn't help them. RIP Wacko, may your winds be smooth and waters calm under the moonlight's guidance to the peaceful shores beyond. Goodbye, you will be remembered.
