Steam's Summer Sale is finally here!

Yep, starting now until the end of the month, Steam will be putting various games on sale! One thing I did notice is that both Payday & its sequel are back on sale (in case anyone hasnt purchased the sequel yet). Other than that, nothing else is really speaking grab me (& I just got paid).

Feel free to post what games you're looking forward to going after (if they go on sale).

Already picked up the Far Cry Franchise Pack and EYE. Probably going to get a few more off my wishlist since I can't win a CS:GO giveaway to save my life!

Hey Tomb Raider just went on sale. So did the survival edition & the GOTY edition. My question is which is the best to go after?

Bought PayDay 2 for $6. Held out and nabbed Borderlands 2 GOTY (ImDead will be happy about that) and I also bought Nether for about $3.

Any advice on Fallout 3? I bought the original, but none of the expansions or DLC. Getting an urge to maybe buy New Vegas...

This pretty much. I actually like New Vegas more than Fallout 3.

Let me rephrase my question: Is New Vegas stand-alone or do you need to have Fallout 3 installed? I already owned and beaten Fallout 3, but I don't have it on Steam. Do I need to reinstall it to play New Vegas?

New Vegas is it's own full game.

The survival edition just includes digital stuff like art work and soundtrack (boring). The GOTY version has mostly multiplayer stuff like characters and weapons etc. That being said, I went for the standard edition because I was only interested in the single player with the least amount of gimmicks and least money spent.
