In light of Warframe's devs, Digital Extremes, possibly being acquired by Perfect World Entertainment, players of Warframe are organizing a protest to stop the deal.

The plan is to have no one (or at least everyone who will listen) not play on the 6th of July, when update 14 comes out. No logging in, no patch downloads, nothing. And then, they return on the 8th. They aim to have this signify that the players support Digital Extremes but not if they are acquired by Perfect World.

Well, I don't want to miss out on the Gift of the Lotus on that day. I've got an Orokin Reactor blueprint to farm!
However, the news that PWE is buying DE concerned me, especially after reading all those posts and stuff about how PWE messed up other games.
Also, Sumpo Food Holdings Limited is a partner with PWE to aquire DE, and what concerns me is that Sumpo is a Hong Kong-based company. As a Hong Kong citizen myself, I'm afraid that the changes to the game by PWE and Sumpo would attract a lot of hate and create a bad image of Hong Kong itself.
What I would do, if I participate in this, is to grab my Orokin Reactor blueprint, get my daily bonuses, then get out.

Hey, I have a right not to fully participate in this protest.
Besides, I'm trying to run a whole Clan Dojo here and my resource pool is dwindling. I never thought I'd see the day I'd run out of circuits and polymer bundles.
If anything, I need an Orokin reactor real bad.

Most people are like you, popping in, taking the daily bonus, and leaving.

They're tracking logins, and that's what counts here.

Are they tracking logouts as well?
Probably. They also track how many players are online in a time frame.
And I don't really care if I'm wrong. I have the right to my Orokin Reactor, and I sure as heck am gonna grab it.

Good luck getting any future reactors if PWE gets a hold of Warframe -- but I guess you also have a right to taking a crack at a few dozen Tenno Lockboxes for a chance at one. :>
