Accidentally muted myself

I know it sounds silly, but I was playing in a non-eGO server and desired to mute all other players as all talk was on. Just to be clear, this was not an admin tool that was used; I used the escape menu option "Mute Players" and highlighted all players including myself to mute. Now even re-installing the game will not unmute me, and I cannot use the same tool to unmute myself. Anyone ever encountered this before or know how to fix it?

The only times I can see my own text chat is with the admin tools (e.g. "@" in all or team chat); otherwise I can't see it at all, nor my own voice commands (e.g. "Go, go, go!" or "Grenade, take cover!"). Any help would be much appreciated. :blush:

hud_saytext 1

Someone also suggested "hud_saytext_time 5" earlier this morning, but that didn't work either.

Just figured it out... in case this ever happens to anyone else:

All you need to do is select your name and one other player above or below you in the Mute Players list, select the mute option, and then you can unmute the other player if you'd like. :lol:

Huh. Didn't think you could mute yourself in the mute list that comes with the game..
