Laggy servers or just me?

I get a lot of lag on the 32 player dustbowl and gravelpit servers at times. Is it the server or just my computer or both?

I've experienced that sometimes... The ping is always high and low, pretty unstable.

Just a quick FYI.... I was in the dustbowl server with you earlier...
we try not to complain openly about lag on the servers. It is rare but it happens....hop in VENT or come in here to let somebody know...

Im not saying that you do it, just for everyone, please never complain about something in the servers, please either pm other members about it or just keep it to yourself, thanks

You guys complaining about wat 60-100 ping!! lol IM IN KOREA!! I Play in 180-200 ping and its COOL!!! Its not bad! We are using Dedicated servers thats crazy!!! 60-100 ping is fine.... i would kill for that....

Ok, here's the thing...

If anything, it may be a personal computer issue, not necessarily about ping all the time. Sheesh, Volcom, stop bringing up your ping

I have a fine ping, normally within the 20-60 range, and I'm normally fine. However, when I play on the convoy server, or if I'm around too many sentries, I may lag a little. I may also lag sometimes randomly whenever there is too much action.

However, I play on a laptop with an 1.80GHz processor, which is just cutting it as far as TF2 goes.

Yeah Ping more often than not usually has nothing to do with lag until you get into the 500ms and above. After 0.4 Seconds (400 ping) to get data to and from the server it's realllllly noticeable.

If we get a lot of complaints about it we usually perform a total restart of the server, that usually fixes it on our end.

i have, I dont know why. But since the last patch, I have been getting unbelievable lag.

I never seem to get lag on the servers. But when it's full it can sometimes lag out a bit, plus our kick limit is a bit high.
