Hi. I've been playing DoD a bit more lately and I think I've gotten support & assault roles down. Any tips/pointers on how to be a rifleman and sniper?

Stand completely still before you shoot the rifle.

Depends which rifle, because both are totally different in play styles. Most 'veteran' players with the M1 Grand strafe left to right, stopping very slightly in between intervals with the cross hair aligned with the enemies body. Same could be said with the KAR, but if you're not going against someone who's strafing back and forth, typically just move/sprint, stop and shoot. A lot of quick reaction is required for both. Hand-to-eye-coordination is key with the KAR, not so much with the grand due to its fire rate.
