Dual Monitors

I am currently shopping for dual monitors and would like to know if anyone has any recommendations for some monitors with a good price and quality.

Any price limit, either total or per monitor? What purpose will you be using them for? Professional/work? Gaming? Homework? Design? Combination of them? What kind of video card do you use as the number and kind of inputs are important (if it has 1xHDMI, 1xDVI or 2xDVI, that can influence the recommendation)

I don't really have a price limit but I'm not looking to spend a fortune, I'd probably use it for a combination of most things... I'm using the NVIDIA Geforce GTX 550 Ti

I used to run dual 23's for years now i run a 47 inch vizio and one Asus 23. I really like having one main and the smaller for stuff like music list,ts3,etc, Just what i use its really not practical unless you have a lot of room. Both are on adjustable wall mounts.
