Did anyone else know that you can tell the difference between Allied and Axis footsteps?

Allies have a more lighter, small-boot like sound to their step.

Whereas axis have a more heavy- stompy stomp-like stepping.

Easy. :chair:

I had no idea- I freak out when there are ANY footsteps around me, spinning about, shooting at teammates like a noob...I will try to listen for the difference

Good to know, though I am usually too busy laughing to myself at ts3 convos to notice :D

mini maps = wall hacks if you know how to use it effectively. The mini map is slightly transparent so you can still view whats in the back of that. Also, when playing (esp as a sniper), you always want to be aiming at places that you are potentially expecting enemies to be at so the top right corner is usually irrelevant (and its easy to adjust your aim with your peripheral vision). However, effectively using the mini map will give you a whole ton of information that you would not otherwise be aware of. For example, location of where your teammates are, where they are dying, and the most important thing... what is currently around you (are there friendlies??). If you hear footsteps and you know you don't have a teammate around you, you know they are coming from behind you and you can now prepare and surprise your attacker instead of being surprised.

I'm surprised not many people noticed the difference, albeit hard, but it comes in handy.
