Well Recon has a variety of things to do such as assist squads and players at spotting enemies, forward deployment of taking out tanks with c4 and of course sniping as part of it. I prefer more to be squad leader with recon or assault and feeding information to the battlefield troops. I use the spotting device for recon and the airburst gun to spot for assault. Make sure to pick high spots to view the battlefield and used the terrain to your advantage

Its quite fun actually. Especially (for me at least) playing the aggressive recon.

What is the best recon rifle for you?

Force recon I run with the AK 5C carbine, as sniper the first sniper rifle is all I got

GOL Magnum for CQC and SRR-61 for long range.
