As we accumulate more new members into our Battlefield Division, I just want to give a warm welcome to our new recruits and also give a few tips.

Regarding the enforcement of rules, please see our lovely ComMngr, Skagnatti's thread here

Also, when playing as our servers, you should be the shining models for behavior - make sure you follow the rules to the best of your ability (we all have our slip ups, that's okay, just make sure you catch it!)

One of the most important things however, is to keep order in the server. If someone is causing a disruption, kindly ask them to Please drop the subject if they cannot be respectful. Do not add fuel to the fire by being an instigator, and you yourself should avoid saying things in chat that may instigate an argument or other disorder that may result in people disrespecting others. Try to calm things down first, and if that seems impossible, if the player(s) have been warned, the next step would be a kick, in which you should find an admin.

If you see someone breaking one of our zero tolerance rules, such as blatant racism, if you cannot find an admin, no problem! You can still help by submitting a ban request to leadership. Click here to see a tutorial on completing ban requests

Remember, nobody is exempt from the enforcement of rules - if you see an eG or eGO breaking the rules, try and talk to them, and if they give you a hard time or don't reply, find an Advisor.

Once again, welcome to the Battlefield Division and have fun playing on our servers! The most important thing is to have fun! :thumbup1:

Well I'm in marching band leadership and my responsibilities for that have started up already, so I'm getting into a helpful mood :P Just want to keep our servers running nice and orderly

What's the best way to contact an admin if someone is being extremely disruptive?

Had to use teamspeak to get a couple of people kicked last night on the 24/7 Shanghai server.
Tipton was the adviser who kicked them and told me if they come back doing the same thing to let him know to ban them. They did come back and did the same thing, where do I post for this? And where do I go for admin training? Or do I have to have my "G" to get that.
Thank You

EDIT: Apparently I don't have to view the tut on bans this is what I found:

epicfail331, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Is my acct disabled?

If you are an "eG" you will have kick powers, and as an "eGO" you will have ban powers. However, these promotions come with time and dedication - when the community feels you are ready for admin powers after getting used to our rules. For now, what you can do is what you have already been doing - letting the admins know of issues so we can take care of it. You can help with banning too - the ban forums are not restricted (you are only required to have a registered account). For a tutorial on how to post ban requests for players, click THIS BUTTON.

It still says insufficient rights. Lol! Oh well. I'll just keep up watching for the jerks and do as I have done in reporting.

You should have access. Have you missed a role call and had your account labelled inactive perhaps?

Probably. I actually haven't been to one yet. When's the next one?

Don't know, I Leadership does them periodically. In my one year, I've only had to respond to one, and that was maybe 2 or 3 months ago.

Thanks for posting this Zen! Very helpful to me as King of the Noobs. :)

epicfail331, I've submitted two ban requests for hacking/aimbotting and both were taken care of immediately. Just make sure you follow the instructions and have your proof (video's work real good!).

I think he's saying that his account is restricted from accessing those forums. epicfail, I would PM someone in leadership to address that.

I love when these kinds of threads pop up every couple months. Definitely help the new guys learn what they can do to help keep the servers running well. Nice job Zin!
