As some of you know, i am in charge of creating an Edge Gamers Recruitment video. This video will be used to spark the attention of potential members. I have the okay from the Council Members to proceed and i am totally pumped about it.
Ive announced it at the last couple meetings including todays so this is going to sound like a repeat. But who cares.
I am looking for a group of people willing to work with me in Audio, Video, Acting, Staging, and Filming. These 5 groups will be commited to delivering the best at what they do. Which is pretty much horsing around and having fun doing it. For those who are interested please PM me or contact me at [email protected]. Unfortenatly im having some problems with gMail and i need to move everything back to my hotmail account. For those of you who have already sent me messages do not worry about it as i have already moved you over to my hotmail account.
Now here is some information on the groups i need.
Audio:
-I need people who know how to use audio recording and mixing programs. It will be your guys job to filter out the background noise in the Voice Actors recordings. Also you will need to mix the final soundtrack for the video.
Video:
-I need people who know anything about Video Editing Software and Capturing. I need input on what is the best software for editing small films and timing the audio with the video. You will also be giving input on the best ideas for capturing the raw footage from ingame. Lots of you will also be in the Film Crew
Acting:
-Voice acting is a huge part of this as we need people to provide hilarious comedic lines, death threats, commentary, and general stereotypical banter. I need people with clear voices and good mics. Also if you have any accents or impressions that you can use that would be awesome. I am desperatly looking for someone who can do an awesome scout impression. Also looking for Spy, and Medic, Engineer would be great as well. We will set up times where we can record the audio from ventrilo while your reading from the script.
Staging:
-This includes Character Actors. If you are good at using a certain class or all classes then great, come talk to me. Perfect timing and Movement is neccesary for this as we need to dial down the voice acting and character acting to the nearest milliseconds. I need people who have excellent accuracy and know certain querks and quarks about each class. Also if any of you are excellent in GMod than that would be greatly appreciated as we may have to do some video recording in a GMod Server.
Filming:
-I need guys who know how to get to areas unavailible by other classes. There are some awesome ones in Dustbowl that provide great angles for awesome footage. You guys will have to stay out of site of cameras. Fortenatly we will also be using spectator cameras for certain angles making it a lot easier to get the birds eye view of a certain battle.
Now this is going to be a group effort and i would like to start production next Weekend if possible.
Some of you are probably thinking. What is our mighty Director doing. I am in charge of putting togethor the final cut of the movie, organizing you all into getting to one place at one time, and i will be doing some voice acting, and character acting myself. And i will also be writing music for the film.
