$99 MCSE Certification package

I'm not sure, but I highly doubt it. There are a lot of scams out there. I'm in school for Information Technology Network Administration with a specialization in Microsoft. At the end of it I'll be able to test for my MCSE, and if I take all of the Cisco courses, I can test for my CCNA as well. So when I graduate I'll have my degree, plus 2 certs.

I recommend finding something like that. It's a much better deal. Look at your local community college.

The issue with things like the LearnSmart and other private companies providing "training", is you don't know for sure rather or not the information is current or outdated, which makes a difference because of what would be on the certification test. You'd be better off going to your local book store and buying some books and self studying. YouTube has great information too, depending on who you watch. But it's usually not enough to teach you everything you need to know.

Ya, I would like to find some kinda visual based teaching tool, like a video to help me get an understanding of what all goes into getting the cert. I know that MCSA get more pay than MCSE do (Admins always get more pay than engineers). But hey, if that can def get my foot in the door somewhere, than itll be better than my current position. I have been wanting to re-try & go after the A+ 801 & 802, but for whatever dumb reason, its the ports that are always the big issue for me. The different # ports always seem to trip me up (especially when they're not really necessary anymore, but CompTIA needs to know that). Maybe someone has had an issue to where they needed to fix one of the ports for whatever reason??

This is not true. Pay depends heavily upon the company and job you are working.
The MCSA and MCSE certifications are very similar. In fact, 4 specific exams required for your MCSE will get you your MCSA in the progress. Then once you pass 3 additional exams you become MCSE certified.

So there are 4 exams required for the MCSA and 7 exams for the MCSE. As you can see the MCSE certification is a little more desirable than the MCSA because it?s more advanced and you?re required to know more (plus you need to pass 3 additional exams).

Also, you could also look into "boot camps" which are typically around a week, but cost thousands of dollars you have to pay out of pocket, unless they have some type of payment plan. I haven't looked into it much myself.

Someone at my work purchased the groupon for the A+,Net+, and Security+. They gave me their access code to access the lessons, because I was curious how the material was..... I started the A+ videos and stopped watching about 2 minutes in because the guy was an idiot. I'm fairly sure that he does all the videos.

The courses don't come with the voucher for the certificate. If that's why you're looking at this to purchase it, don't.
 
Hey guys the offer is def over w/, but I really appreciate your input. I found out that my local community has some online based classes on SQL and other stuff, so im going to inquire further on this.
