Hello TF2 Division!
If you were at the Divisional Meeting today, you already know that we're going to host a 1-week recruiting marathon with prizes. This will last from Sunday August 24th- Sunday August 31st and anyone can participate!
Goal: Bring in as many new members as we can in the last week of August. Server stats are climbing once more and we also have our new Snowplow server. Lots of fresh blood out there. Go make some new friends and help keep these numbers up!
Prizes:
in-game items: hats, stranges
detailed prize list to come (have to see what goodies I have)
How to enter to win: To enter the contest, you will need to recruit at least ONE member during the week of the contest.
You can get EXTRA entries by inviting your recruit to TS and to events.
Gain a recruit = 5 points
Recruit joins TS = 2 points
Recruit attends events = 3 points
Completing followups on recruit = 5 points
Max total of 15 points per recruit
There will be RANDOM prizes for anyone who enters (by recruiting at least one person) and there will also be prizes for the TOP 3 people in points.
Remember, everyone is a recruiter. This isn't about spamming people, pressuring people or bribing and blackmailing people. This is about getting out on our servers and making new friends, then bringing cool people back to our TF2 family. If you wouldn't want to hang with them in TS or play with them on the servers, we don't want them in eGO.
Don't forget to check out the Summer of Sand thread. While you're having fun in the sandy sun, you could be making new friends and earning your entry in this contest, too.
