Have I been banned? and if so why?

None of the ego servers are showing up in my TF2 game, I even tried adding the IP adresses of the servers and that did absolutely nothing. If I was banned I think I deserve an explanation.

This sounds like a steam problem. However, if an admin banned you they would have warned you about your actions. Send me a PM and let me know the details if there was an incident. I had this problem a couple days ago getting Steam to cooperate. Try restarting it and then adding the IP addresses again.

First, if you were banned you should post in contest ban forum. And honestly, no one deserves anything, would be nice, but not needed,

Now that we got that out of the way... Sometimes server disappear in game and need to be readded. I would expect bugs to pop up these next few days with the big patch coming out today. Thats probably whats causing you troubles.

As far as I know, no admin can prevent a user from polling server info. I can't even imagine how that would be done without some serious help from Valve.

Don't worry about it. It happened to me a couple of times. Only thing I found that worked was rebooting my entire computer.

It's a glitch with Steam. There is a txt file you need to delete in the steam folder.... Umm I think Steam has the files posted on the SteamPowered forums. Something blob.

But yeah it's just a glitch where like... 70% of the servers don't show up for some odd and totally unexplainable reason. :O
