EDIT: If we are going to add another 24/7 map to the eGO lineup of servers, I'd like to see either de_cpl_mill or de_cpl_strike (Source versions). I believe those would have much more staying power than de_highschool.

those two maps are the worst to be 24/7

With every post saying that it will be empty always after a week or two, of course that is bound to happen, it happened with the revival of Blackmesa in TF2 and it will happen here, both maps had their moment of glory and then they fell, tried to bring them back, lasted a bit of time but people just fill the space the first removal of the server did and stop playing again, its a cycle, but even if that happens I really think its worth it or perhaps do like TF2 and have a highschool night just like they have blackmesa sunday.

me and blaze has already put up suggestions

like a 24/7 assault or militia or season or fill in the blank cs:s original maps which in my un biases option is why dust 2, italy and office succeeded were others have failed

if it an't broke don't fix it mentality and apparently they succeeded on picking out great maps for the series

also gun game, death match, zombie mods among others are hugely popular

I'm sure that those of us who frequently play on our servers know the regulars or know the players. Why not talk to them about it casually and see what they say? In the end, to maintain a server, we need a strong pubber base because constantly having only members is difficult.

And say we do bring back Highschool or gun game or death match or whatever, for those of us who wanted and even those who didn't, advertise the fact that we have such a server while playing(?). I know that pubbers read the text and if we, as members of eGO, advertise that we have a new server, maybe it'll peak some interest in players, especially if it's something that we're trying out because of both a member and non-member mix of inputs.

Just what I think but then, members would have to willingly participate in talking to pubbers and telling them, if, we do get a new server.
