So I meant to write this when I got to 5 years...but I guess I forgot so now it's 6. Usually these can get pretty boring so I'll try and keep it short hehe.
I joined eGO in the end of August 2008 as an annoying high-pitched 12 year old. I used to put on an embarrassingly low voice to make myself sound older when wardening in CS Jail - that's how squeeky I was, like micky mouse in helium. My division was TF2 though and I spent a LOT of my time after school in our Black Mesa server, which I recommend you try out in the TF2 events they put on occasionally. I actually made some friends and fell in love with the community, even buying the eGO hoodie, which is the softest hoodie you will have ever felt. I had many impressive conversations (although I was kicked nearly every day from vent), including a deep PM with our Great Leader himself.
I was a passionate safety dancer, and a foolish bacon-hater, but my ultimate goal was to get admin, which I obviously couldn't achieve given my generally annoying presence - think Nicoll x10
. I was even banned from eGO by Arti once! (he thought I was a baddie by mistake)
But the 'Spirit Of eGO' was actually enough to stop my from crying about it, for a few years at least.
I left TF2 and went to Strat during some DARK TIMES. Some nasty crap went on there haha, but story for another day. HOWEVER ONE DAY, I found REALISM, the best event in eGO? 'IT CAN'T BE?!!' But it was, and I then spent my first 300hrs in DoD:s in the summer of 2012. I won $20 from spartacus legolas too, which he still hasn't paid me from the summer bounty.
So now after 6 years, having THE best realism campaign ever in THE best division ever and with over 3000 hours on edgegamers servers, I look forward to another 6. Thanks for being awesome guys.
