This band is Flying Colors, they are essentially a super-group; a group of musicians who are already well-established, and decide to work together on a new project. This is their second album, which is releasing later this month.
The Drummer, Mike Portnoy, is my musical idol. Many people would consider him one of the greatest active drummers. Originally of Dream Theater fame, he is the drummer to have in the Prog Rock scene, or rather, any scene as he can play any genre. Nowadays, he does a lot of work with Neal Morse, the pianist in this video, who is my overall favorite musician/songwriter. I would encourage everyone to check out this band (I am sure you can find their first album on Youtube and Grooveshark), or if you want to check out other stuff by Neal Morse, just let me know and I can point you to some stuff.
Enjoy!
