[poll] Spy Checking methods

Being a medic, you have to be sure the person your about to uber isn't a spy so I have my ways of checking. Pyro is an obvious choice so I made other ways

I generally observe for suspicious behavior (wrong direction, always first weapon, running in circles, stuff like that).

Lately I've been playing Pyro.. so I just "lite up." =) Being a pyro is also helpful when you see a spy cloak... I then just start spinning with the mouse button pegged.. and usually see a "invisible man on fire" running away =)

I typically run into them, if I don't go through them I shoot them in the head and wait to see what happens.

Normally when I uber someone they have been fighting and I have been healing them so its quite difficult to uber a spy.

I <3 ubering spies mainly if they are on my team that makes everyone on the other side of the team ????-ing long enough to rev their asses ask IEatNoobs

Well, since I usually play pyro, I usually run into teammates, if im blocked, they're dead. But sometimes, in crowded areas, I'll go beserk with my flamethrower, just to be safe. Gotta protect those sentries!

Always run into them while wielding my melee weapon, if I can. Much easier to take them down that way.

I run into them, or if their behavior is suspicious enough, I shoot. I don't mind retreating to refill my ammo if I saved myself and my team from a spy.

I'll just charge right into them if they stop me I kill them with whatever weapon happens to be out(MACHETE!!!!!!). Or if i see a blue char in red base who isnt being slaughtered by sentries and other reds I try to keep my eye out for the spy.

I generally shoot at people who could possibly be spies, just to see if they get hurt.

A little bit of intuition and running into them. Been playing Engy for a while now, and over time you can usually tell who's acting suspicious and who's not.
