It's becoming very obvious that some admins may have "different opinions on how to run things"

Challenging leadership on public forums is not a good idea if you plan to stay in eGO.

This should be handled via eGO's private channels (Either PM or Teamspeak)

Support and offer "constructive" idea's in public forums.

If you have something that you disagree with please speak with them "behind closed doors"

It's clear to me that you have several misunderstandings and I'll do my best to explain things so that you and other admins can understand them via a numbered list.

1. Leadership members perform vital functions within eGO. However, eGO is and always has been an inclusive community composed mostly of guests, members, and non-leadership admins. Our diverse community focuses on camaraderie, teamwork, and the preservation of established community ethics.

Quote from the History and Structure page:

This clan's foundation rests on honor, loyalty, and integrity. There is a heavy emphasis on maturity, fair play, helping others and having a fun and competitive gaming experience that all can enjoy. Because of this, eGO has attracted the most dedicated members and experienced administrators in the gaming world. eGO has become a place where each admin can and does make a difference. No matter what real life brings, in the world of eGO, you are valued and counted on to help make things right.

2. There is oft a clear distinction between insubordination and disagreement. Tone, demeanor, abuse of power, continued action despite warnings, selective deletion of posts, and actions outside of the forums are all contributing factors affecting public and upper-administrative perception regarding alleged acts of insubordination committed by "some admins" or members of leadership.

3(a). The forums are the correct location to carry on discussions about various topics even if they oppose the standpoints presented by a member of leadership. However, these discussions should be carried out in a respectful manner.

[fo?rum (noun) (fȯr-əm) ]
a : the marketplace or public place of an ancient Roman city forming the center of judicial and public business
b : a public meeting place for open discussion
c : a medium (as a newspaper or online service) of open discussion or expression of ideas

3(b). The Dropbox is a place "...for you to give us suggestions or voice your concerns and can only be viewed by eGO Leadership and the initial poster" or for "community suggestions, concerns, recommendations, or [to] report a problem."

4. Despite rank, everyone's opinions expressed in the proper venues should be respected.

It should be remembered that members of leadership are not divine beings with infinite powers and incapable of making mistakes. Conversely, members do not have the same powers as leadership but are required to adhere to the community's code of conduct. That said, no member (leadership or otherwise) should break eGO rules, abuse power, or blatantly disrespect another member.

5. There are major differences between "challenging leadership" and expressing a difference of opinion concerning proposed actions. Disagreeing with leadership proposed actions is not disrespectful nor is it insubordination.

6. "Constructive ideas" are not necessarily the same ideas expressed by leadership. Different points of view are a natural and constructive element in society and within eGO.

7. The forums and other actions within eGO are administrated by leadership members. It is not necessary for "some admins" to create new threads to discuss incidents or policies already handled by leadership and generally understood by most members.

8. Use common sense.

common sense (noun) (k?-mən sen(t)s)

: the ability to think and behave in a reasonable way and to make good decisions

Well when I have a problem with someone, I am very open about it. I don't have time to silently get pissed at someone. I like to make the situation well known so I can get feedback from other members. The forums is perfect place to do that.

That can be a double edge bladed there my friend. Some people don't mind this, but others will not let that stand. So be-careful if you use that approach.

To go with Dutchoper, that method can easily go sour really fast. Discussing the issue in private in vent or via PMs is one thing, publicly airing out your issues on the forums for anyone and everyone to read, whether they're involved or not, is a horrible way to deal with the issue. And woe unto the person who uses that method and changes any of the facts to what they felt was what really happened, or even outright lying, as that makes it look like you're the one at fault as well.

I thought this was covered in admin training? Discuss the issue in private, or go up the chain of command for advice or help.

I think I'll add this to my first post.

The fundamental part of my message is very clear -

You can argue with "a Judge in his private chambers." (So, to speak) You can talk with leadership if you feel strongly about something.

However, using a "public forum" is ill advised in this case.

As Stormy pointed out commonsense is required before you post.

Thanks for the reminder, Stormy!

When leadership asks for peoples opinions for certain subjects you should be allowed to openly discuss how you feel about the subject, as long as your posts dont break eGOs rules they should be left alone for everyone to read, that way certain subjects aren't just one sided conversations.

That being said, Ive seen members banned for expressing their opinions, so who knows.

Giving an opinion on something is fine, it's when people go around making antagonistic/inflammatory posts for no reason is when their post gets deleted and will continue to be deleted which eventually results in a ban due to lack of maturity.

To add to your critique, I would like to mention that leadership is not immune from making "antagonistic/inflammatory posts."

In other words everyone makes mistakes, even leadership people. We are only human and learn from these mistakes. Holding grudges only brings misery and doubt. Plus sadness and all that other stuff, long story short try not to piss off everyone you meet.
