After the new update I have issues connecting to any servers.
When i click join server in battlelog it gets stuck on the joining server message then after about a minute it terminates the connection with the "make sure oprt 3159 UDP is open" which it already is, I have enabled port routing for that particular port. Prior to the patch I never got this error

Anyways any tips on how to fix it will be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance

I'm guessing you mean 3659? That's the most common error with port errors.

Is it happening on only eGO servers? Or other servers as well? Some people have been having this issue with certain servers but not others.

Make sure all of these ports are open:

TCP: 80, 443, 9988, 20000-20100, 22990, 17502, 42127
UDP: 3659, 14000-14016, 22990-23006, 25200-25300

Also, try disabling your firewall prior to connecting to the server and see if that changes anything.

Also, for the heck of it, try an iprenew and dnsflush through command prompt.

You may also want to run a repair for Battlefield and see if that fixes it.

Let me know if any of these work!

Good luck.

Yes i meant 3659

And i only get the error with this one, none of the other ports that you put in quotationa are mentioned

For some reason, I'm suspecting Battlefield itself of being the cause of the problem, since you mentioned it never happened before the recent patch. Which means either something in the patch is conflicting with your current network settings, or Battlefield itself is getting a false indication of something going wrong.

Run a repair on Battlefield and see if that fixes it. If not, the patch must not like something configured within your network. In that case, try what I said above.

Hopefully you get this figured out.

It worked on the day of the patch, but the after this error started occuring. I tried repairing the instal but it didn't work

I had the same issue when battlelog was updated last night (amongst many others) and restarting my machine seemed to have taken care of it. I was getting the errors on only eGO servers after the update. Now I just rubber band like crazy.
